An urban oasis for the soul amidst Seattle street blocks of mirages.
Salamualaykum wa rahmatullah,
InshAllah we will begin publicly displaying our monthly khateeb schedules, due to the high demand. Here is the December khutbah schedule.
InshAllah starting this friday at the Islamic House, salatul Jum'ah will be held at 12:30pm.
For those making salatul Jumah at the hub meditation room, the times will remain the same despite the daylight savings time change.
For those who are doing jumah in the hub meditation room. Due to exam conflicts, the first prayer will be done at 1:05 whereas the second prayer will be done at 3:30. This is just for next week.
[10/26/16] Please do remember to donate new and slightly used clothing to the Pillars of Service Box at the Islamic House and the HUB Basement Meditation Room!
Salamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktu,
The Islamic House will be holding jum'ah salah starting at 1:30pm. The khutbah and prayer will mostly conclude around 2:15.
For those who can't make it to the Islamic House Jum'ah due to class conflicts, there will be Jum'ah conducted in the HUB Meditation room, down in the Hub basement. There will be jumah conducted at 1:20 and at 3:30. They will both take around 10 minutes, with khutbah and prayer included. There are no assigned khateebs, so students will need to figure that out amongst themselves.
[09/08/16] InshAllah, the Islamic House will be offering the Eid-ul-Adha salah on Monday, September 12th. The takbeerat will begin at 7:30am, and the eid prayer will begin at 8:00am.
This photo shows the directions to the Islamic House. If you try to locate the Islamic House by using the GPS directions for "4626 21st Ave NE. Seattle, WA 98105," you will be taken to the gated entrance to the Islamic House which is permanently locked. The best thing you can do is use the GPS directions for "4625 21st Ave NE. Seattle, WA 98105," which will take you to the ZBT fraternity house, which is a large blue building. The Islamic House is an orange building located in the back of the ZBT parking lot. There is absolutely no parking in the adjacent ZBT and Phi Delta Theta parking lots. Those who park in the adjacent fraternity parking lots will be subject to towing, whether the visit is for 1 hour or 5 minutes. The only available parking is the street parking.
