Valley and Mountain

Valley & Mountain is a new spiritual community/church in the Rainier Valley of Seattle, Washington

Our mission is to build a radically hospitable community, rooted in grace, that practices deep listening and creative liberation.

We have two Celebrations (aka services) each Sunday at 11am and 4pm. As well as many other ways that we gather that may be found on our website: valleyandmountain.org

We celebrate the diversity of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, primary language, and spiritual identity in our community and our neighborhood and strive to create an inclusive environment.

We are thrilled to announce that a living legend, Rev Dr Samuel McKinney, will be speaking at our 11am service this Sunday, Feb 5th! Rev McKinney was a hero of the Seattle civil rights movement and a fierce advocate liberation movements thereafter. He pastored Mt Zion Baptist Church in the CD for over 40 years. In these times, we are excited to hear from one of our great elders speak on Micah 6:8, and how these words have sustained and encouraged him to overcome. Don't miss it! http://www.blackpast.org/aaw/mckinney-samuel-berry-1926-0
