May the frightened be released from their fears,
May those in captivity be freed,
May the powerless be endowed with power,
And may people think only of benefiting one another.
(From Medicine Buddha Sadhana)
We love visitors at KMC Washington! Here are some of our friends from nearby Pacific Northwest Kadampa Centers. Kadam Heather and Piper (in the middle) from Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Center in Portland, and Selma and Alp from Olympia Kadampa Buddhist Center. Alp is here for a long-term stay during Heruka counting retreat, and Selma (his mom) stops by every week to deliver home-cooked meals. Joy!
Join us at 5:00pm for Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog offering.
By relying on this practice, we can purify negativity, accumulate merit, and receive blessings. In this way, we shall naturally accomplish all the realizations of the stages of the path of Sutra and Tantra, and in particular we shall attain a very special Dharma Wisdom.
