Please Help Us With Our Building Fund
The City of Seattle has given approval for us to maintain a religious facility in a residential zone. To meet code, we need to add parking, a fire escape and protection, and handicap access requirements. These improvements need to start in 2017, and we need to raise $75,000. Please help us reach our fundraising goal with a donation to Blue Heron Zen Community. As we are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, your donation is fully tax-deductible. Please join us as we begin our annual Blue Heron Kyol Che. The special nature of Kyol Che is that it offers us an intensive "coming together" practice, when we can re-invigorate our training with the support of our sangha and teachers. This year's Kyol Che will take place from Tuesday, January 24th through Tuesday, April 25th. The theme is How Did We Get in this Fix? An exploration of Dependent Origination and the transformation of Karma.
[01/16/17] All are welcome! Sunday, January 22, Fundamentals of Zen, Seattle, 1pm - 4pm. Discover the true nature of reality. Blue Heron Zen Community invites you to take up the challenge of training a beautifully clear mind in this free, three-hour Fundamentals of Zen workshop. Pre-registration is not necessary.
Open and affirming, ALL are welcome Sundays, 9 am in Hildebrand Hall (casual, contemporary service) and 11 am (more traditional service) in the Sanctuary.
