City Calvary Chapel

Calvary Chapel church in Shoreline/Seattle WA

[02/12/17]   Good morning church! Our Sunday morning service may start at 10am, but we have "early-church" going on too! The men gather at 9am in the Fellowship Hall, and group prayer starts at 930 on the main floor. Come early for breakfast and let's seek the Lord together as His body!

[01/22/17]   "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile." Jeremiah 29:12-14

Come join us this morning as we gather together as ONE body and call upon the Lord, in worship and prayer. See you soon!

Re-directed, rebuilding, repentance.

Pastor John continues his teaching through Ezra and the timeless truths that were for the Israelites then, and for us today. Please joins us at 10am for worship, prayer, and teaching!

Men--- start 2017 out on the right foot--- join us for Blood Brothers this Saturday morning!

[01/01/17]   Dear City Calvary,

This Sunday is the first day of the new year and the focus for our church service will be to dedicate 2017 to Jesus. Dedication is something we should do every day, as individuals, but it is a neat opportunity for us as a body to corporately dedicate our church and our lives to God for this coming year. It will be a wonderful time of worship and prayer, with a short message on the Feast of Dedication (also known as Hanukkah). In John 10:22-42, Jesus is at the temple during the Feast of Dedication and the people ask him if he is the Messiah. Jesus gives quite the response, one that we will look at. By the way, the timing for Hanukkah is very unusual this year. Normally it falls in late November to mid-December; however, the 2016 Feast of Dedication begins December 24th and ends January 1st, which is really cool in my opinion.

Blessings in Jesus,

John Aydelott

What's In a Name?

Thru the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Season, do we remember Who Jesus is?? Our CCC kids will help us remember---

To the Frustrated Driver: Jesus is our Prince of Peace.
To the Exasperated Decorators: Jesus is the LIght of the World.
To the Frazzled Baker: Jesus is the Bread of Life.
To the Disappointed Shopper: Jesus is God's Gift.

Please enjoy this video they made to remind us of the reason for the season! Please share with all you know!

"If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be." Deut 15:7-8

A couple of opportunities at CCC for helping those in need are our Giving Tree and Meals for Orphans. Please click on the pictures for more details, and thank you for giving to those in need!

We wish you a Merry Christmas and WELCOME you to join us for corporate worship of the Lord!
